I’ve been a busy bee

Wow! The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of photoshoots. I’ve photographed everything from kitchen appliances to glamour images. I’ve met some truly amazing people along the way. Here is a small sampling of some of what I’ve been doing. More detail on the shoots will be upcoming when I have the chance to sit down and blog about the individual shoots.

Amanda Sowards – Miss Wake County North Carolina 2009. Amanda is as much an amazing person as she is beautiful. It is always a pleasure to have her come by the studio. Here she is looking lovely outside the studio amongst the junk cars.

Supercar Sensation. I got to combine two of my favorite things to shoot into one pictorial for a holiday gift guide for a local magazine. Hot cars and hot models, always a winning combination! Here’s a peak at the car we used.. A beautiful yellow Lamborghini! Jessi Rabon and Mike Ezarsky posed with the car. I got some very colorful images from the shoot. I’ve worked with both Jessi and Mike several times.

Emily Morgen, Fashion Designer. I recently shot a line of clothing from local fashion designer Emily Morgen. Here are a couple examples of her pieces and a portrait of Emily herself. Models were Samantha Mills and Erica Moore Fink.

Blue Fire Gear. I was recently asked to shoot a line of outerwear for a local clothing company which specializes in game day battle gear. Here are a couple images featuring Nikki, Alessia and Craig in some of the logo-ed ponchos offered by Blue Fire Gear. The outerwear will eventually be available for all your favorite schools and professional teams.

My Hero Gala. Here are a few images from the 2009 My Hero Gala at the Time Warner Arena. The gala was a black tie and sneaker event to raise money for the Bobcats Youth Foundation and the Presbyterian Hospital Community Care Cruiser.

Below: Lawrence “Weez” Newton of  The Urban Guerilla Orchestra. UGO provided after-dinner entertainment for the crowd late into the evening. I was blown away by their energy and sound.
