Supermodel for a Day | April 10, 2011

Back in September, we donated a Supermodel for a Day photoshoot as a silent auction item to benefit United Family Services. This past weekend the winning bidder cashed in the photoshoot and brought her 15 year old granddaughter to shoot for the day. The shoot had a rodeo theme to it. We spent some time in studio, taking headshots in a variety of western attire, then we went to Latta Plantation where there were two horses waiting for us to shoot.

We had a lot of fun capturing images that were definitely different that anything we’ve done on one of these shoots. Rooster and Dude were the two horses and cooperated nicely (for the most part) and gave us some great action shots as well as some fantastic portraits. There was even an element of danger involved as I had Brittani and Dude charge towards me as I photographed them. My wife told me just to pretend I was a barrel…. thanks hun, and btw, is my life insurance policy up to date?
