Zion National Park. I’ve been to Zion with my wife several times. I could easily fill a year of “Picture of the Day” with images from the park. It is one of our favorite places to visit. The image below is from a road less traveled in the park. Most visitors stay in the main valley where the spectacular cliffs and short hikes are popular. Mari and I like to get away from the crowds, so we ventured up Kolob Terrace Road towards Kolob Reservoir.

This image was taken near sunset on our way back from the reservoir as we headed back to Springdale were we spent the night.
